Over four miles of wide, calm beach on Drakes Bay — NPS calls it a favorite for families, with gentler waves than west-facing beaches, estuary wildlife and harbor seals offshore. ⚠ Cold water (as low as 50°F), sneaker waves and rip currents; seasonal wildlife closures possible.
