Free general admission to the de Young Museum's permanent collection every Saturday for residents of the nine Bay Area counties (photo ID or postmarked mail required), with family-friendly art-making, gallery guides, and discussion tours. Kids 17 and under are always free regardless of residency. Special ticketed exhibitions are not included.
Good to know
- The de Young sits inside Golden Gate Park proper (unlike the Legion of Honor, which is in Lincoln Park and was excluded).
