Kids and families make handmade greeting cards (no larger than 4 1/4" x 5.5") at home, then mail or drop them off. Cards are tucked into meal deliveries to isolated seniors around Valentine's Day, the winter holidays, and as 'thinking of you' and birthday notes year-round. No volunteer application required.
Good to know
- Category picked as 'arts' — this is fundamentally a card/craft-making-for-elderly activity, matching the example in the brief.
- Not a scheduled event — this is a flexible, ongoing take-home project, which is why day/weekday don't map to a normal single date; flagged here rather than fabricating a fake event date.
- Include an info sheet with submissions (per org instructions) to log volunteer hours if desired.
- Contact volunteer@mowsf.org or 415-233-1286 to arrange drop-off.
